There are different types of Rudraksha. These types of Rudraksha is identified counting its natural lines in each bead. So each bead have seperate number of lines. Some Rudraksha can have 1 lines ,some 2 lines, some 3 lines. Like this it is found till 21 natural lines in Rudraksha. The type of rudraksha is known as Faced of Rudraksha. We give each rudraksha name like 1 faced ,2 faced by its faces on Bead. If Rudraksha bead have only 1 faced it is known as 1 faced rudraksha. Another example is if Rudraksha have natural five countables lines or faces,it is known as five faced rudraksha. Rudraksha is found from 1 faced to 21 faced rudraksha. Some faced rudraksha is very rare and some is very easily found ,less expensive.

The story legend ,About Lord shiva Rudraksha mention in Great Scripture Like Shiva Puran goes like this
" Once when god shiva opened his both of his eyes from 1000 years meditation. The Few drops of Tears fell down on land from god shiva eyes. The holy tears of god shiva on land turns to small plant name known as Rudraksha plant. After the Plant turned to trees the Divine Rudraksha Tree produced the Holy Bead " Rudraksha" or "Shiva Rudraksha ". These Rudraksha seed is very much important . More about rudraksha,lord shiva himself have mentioned its important to his dear Elder Son Kumar". The Rudraksha type known as Faces or mukhi denotes different symbol or presence of various god/goddess in each bead. Every Rudraksha is god shiva himself but each type denote presence of different god/goddess who is present with god shiva".
